Experience the Magic of Kentucky Tall Tales and Appalachian Folklore

About
Our Folklore Celebration
Meet the Festival Organizers
The Kentucky Folklore Festival is proudly brought to you by Hearth and Hallows Creative—the same imaginative mind behind the Battletown Witch Festival. Hearth & Hallows is passionate about creating a fun, safe space where we can all celebrate being uniquely Kentucky weird, share our legends, and keep our tall tales alive.
Event Highlights
We’re thrilled to welcome an incredible lineup to this year’s Kentucky Folklore Festival! Joining us is Packman Paranormal, the team behind The Hauntings of Fort Duffield right here in West Point, KY, and Black Wolf Paranormal, known for their investigations of the legendary Bell Witch Cave. We’re also bringing in insightful educators like Emily Little and Mariah Tran, who will share their knowledge of all things witchy and weird. Gray's Taproom Podcast will serve up some wicked laughs with their live comedy act, and we’re excited to have Fantasy Audio Magazine back to provide music and haunting ambiance throughout the festival.

Paranormal Encounters
We’re lucky to have two paranormal investigative teams on site during the festival—Packman Paranormal and Black Wolf Paranormal. Both have extensively explored the very grounds where our event takes place and will be sharing the haunted history of West Point and beyond. Get ready for real stories from those who’ve seen the other side up close.

Live Experiences
We’re excited to welcome a variety of unique vendors offering everything from palmistry and tarot to mediumship and metaphysical goods. Whether you're looking to glimpse your future or just craving a delicious hot dog from one of our amazing food trucks, there’s something magical for everyone at the Kentucky Folklore Festival!

Eat me, Drink me
This year, the Kentucky Folklore Festival will feature 8 incredible food trucks and a fun-filled biergarten! Think everything from Cajun eats to comfort classics, paired with craft beer, local mead, and even hot mulled wine. It’s the best of fall—and the ruin of all diets (and we’re not even sorry).
the Witch Dance
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome even more witch dance troupes to the festival! These enchanting performers will be at the event all day—meeting guests, sharing their stories, and maybe even teaching a few moves. By the end of the day, we hope to fill the space with as many people as possible joining in one big, magical dance.
